The booklet contains plenty of advice on how to get your message across to the media, beginning with the principle that you don´t need a lot of money or a big office to do this - but you do need to invest time, energy and creativity. GLAAD has six offices in the US, its email address is: glaad@glaad.org; Web Page: www.glaad.org The Global Fund for Women provides financing to help the efforts of women to change their societies, ranging from $500 to $15,000 (US dollars). The Fund finances projects that defend the human rights of women and that improve the access of women to communications technologies, and that help create networks among women and groups. The Global Fund for Women receives applications for grants in any format - handwritten or done by computer, and in any language, and it revises applications regularly and in a non-bureaucratic fashion.
