Upon
Arrival in Mexico
Traveling around Central Mexico is safe and economical. People are helpful,
friendly and open-minded. However, as in any other place, you will want to
take some precautions. Do not leave your belongings unattended. Do not purchase
items until you have enough information regarding prices. Drink only bottled
drinking water.
The easiest way to get to CICE is to fly to Mexico City
and take a bus to Cuernavaca. This shuttle departs directly from the airport
and leaves every hour. CICE can also arrange for pick-up service at the airport
for an added fee.
Housing
CICE will arrange for students to live with Mexican families while studying
at CICE. This is a unique experience for students who want to learn more about
Mexican culture and master all forms of the Spanish language. However, students
who prefer their own accommodations are welcome to stay in hotels (US $20.00
- $40.00 per day) or apartments. CICE will provide assistance upon request.
