Spanish Program
CICE offers an exciting and unique opportunity to experience Mexican culture and society while learning Spanish. Classes are based on solid grammatical principles and programs offer real-life situations for learning and practicing Spanish at all levels. In order to give the students more individual attention and help them learn Spanish in the shortest possible time, no more than five students are assigned per classroom.

Courses Offered
Courses range from beginning to advanced levels. CICE has developed highly intensive Spanish programs that cover all aspects of the language including pronunciation, grammar, reading comprehension and conversational skills while being totally immersed in Mexican life and culture. CICE provides a placement test one day prior to the beginning of the course for students with existing knowledge of Spanish to ensure the appropriate level of instruction.

Basic Spanish
It is possible to complete this course in one month, although rates
of progress will vary. Students enrolled in this program learn basic grammatical
structures and acquire conversational skills. This course gives the students
fluency in "survival Spanish". It covers areas such as "getting
around "and emphasizes idiomatic expressions used in Mexico and Latin
America.
Intermediate/Advanced Spanish
These programs are specifically designed for students already familiar
with the basic grammatical structure of Spanish. The programs help students
develop oral and written skills. We emphasize the reading of magazines, newspapers
and contemporary Latin American literary works combined with other afternoon
activities. Students also participate in oral presentations of selected topics
to develop fluency and strong confidence in the language.
Spanish for Professionals
This course is tailored to each individual's professional needs. We
focus on language areas such as: Marketing, Economics, Law,
Environmental Issues, Social Work, and colloquial as well as formal medical concepts and others.
